Mr. Vaibhav Gaur | Materials Science | Research Excellance Award
Research Fellow | The University of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University | India
Mr. Vaibhav Gaur’s research centers on the microstructural evolution and performance optimization of titanium and its alloys through advanced processing techniques such as cryogenic rolling, severe plastic deformation, and controlled heat treatment. His work investigates the interplay between phase stability, deformation mechanisms, and resulting mechanical properties to achieve an improved strength ductility balance. By employing advanced characterization methods including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), transmission electron microscopy , and X-ray diffraction , he analyzes structure–property relationships in α and α+β titanium alloys. His studies contribute to the design of high-performance materials for demanding aerospace and biomedical applications. He has authored 2 research documents, receiving 1 citation, with an h-index of 1, indicating growing research visibility and impact in the field.
