Dr. Sandeep Kumar is a Project Scientist at the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, specializing in geological and geotechnical mapping of landslides, GIS and remote sensing applications, machine learning in landslide hazard assessment, earthquake-induced landslides, FEM modeling, drone applications, debris flow, rockfall trajectory modeling, and engineering geology. He holds a Ph.D. in Geology and has received several honors, including the Joint CSIR-UGC NET-JRF (Earth Science).
