Prof. Dr. R. Suresh is a distinguished academician and researcher in the field of mechanical engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Kuvempu University, Karnataka, India. With over 28 years of experience, including 22 years in teaching and 6 years in industries, he has a strong background in materials and manufacturing processes. His research interests include CAD/CAM, Additive Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, and Robotics. Prof. Dr. R. Suresh has received several honors and awards for his contributions to research, including the ‘Annual Exemplary Faculty-Research 2020’ Award from Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore. He has made significant contributions to the field through his publications and has a notable record of research grants and consultancy work. Currently, he serves as a Professor at M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, where he continues to inspire and mentor students in the field of mechanical engineering.

Prof. Dr. R. Suresh completed his B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Kuvempu University, Karnataka, India, in April 1995. He then pursued his M.Tech in Production Engineering System Technology (PEST) from the same university, graduating in September 2002. Dr. Suresh continued his academic journey and earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Kuvempu University in March 2013.

Additionally, he was honored with the “Outstanding Scientist Award” in Engineering/Machinability of Hardened steel by the Centre for Advanced Research and Design, Chennai, in December 2015.

With a total experience of 28 years, including 22 years in teaching and 6 years in industries, Prof. Dr. R. Suresh has a diverse background. He has held various academic positions, including Senior Lecturer at S.J.M. Institute of Technology, Chitradurga, and RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. He has also served as an Assistant Professor at BTL Institute of Technology, Bangalore, and as an Associate Professor at Canara Engineering College, Mangalore, and Alliance University, Bangalore. Currently, he is a Professor at M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, where he has been since July 2016.

She holds a PhD in Automatic Analysis of Arboreal Strata from the University of Cordoba and Seville, along with two master’s degrees in Telecommunications Engineering and Representation and Design in Engineering and Architecture. Currently, she is a Researcher at the University of Cordoba, specializing in Electronics and Computer Engineering, and is a member of the R&D Group on SmartGrids, Instrumentation, and Industrial Electronics (IEI -TIC 240).
