Adela M. Sánchez Moreiras is a Full Professor in Plant Physiology at the Faculty of Biology, University of Vigo, Spain. Born on September 8, 1971, in Vigo, Spain, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Santiago de Compostela (1989-1994), a Degree in Plant Physiology from the University of Vigo (1996), and a Ph.D. in Biology on ‘Whole Plant Stress Response after BOA Exposition’ (2004).Her noteworthy academic achievements include receiving the Cum Laude qualification for her Ph.D., and an Extraordinary Award for the best thesis at the University of Vigo in 2006.
