Dr. Xiang Wu pursued his doctoral studies in Physics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, specializing in Condensed Matter Physics. His research focused on the industrialization of second-generation high-temperature superconducting tapes and the preparation processes and mechanisms of superconducting films. Prior to his doctoral studies, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Optical Information Science and Technology from Jiangsu University.

Dr. Wu’s research primarily revolves around advancing the performance and stability of high-temperature superconducting tapes. He has contributed significantly to the exploration of fabrication techniques and industrial applications of superconducting materials, particularly in improving the properties of YBCO and REBCO thin films.

Dr. Wu has received recognition for his contributions to both academia and industry. His accolades include provincial-level awards for his teaching excellence, participation in technology innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, and recognition for guiding students to success in physics competitions.

He currently serves as the Head of the Physics Department at Baise College, where he oversees curriculum development, talent cultivation, and research projects. Previously, he held the position of Vice President at Shanghai Superconductor Technology Co., Ltd., where he led a team in establishing a production platform for second-generation high-temperature superconducting tapes and conducted extensive research on thin film preparation processes.
