Dr. Haimi earned his PhD in Public Health from the University of Haifa’s School of Public Health, Faculty of Social Welfare & Health Sciences, in 2019. He previously received his Master of Health Administration (magna cum laude) from the same institution in 2014. Dr. Haimi completed his MD at The Hebrew University & Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel, in 1994, following his undergraduate studies in medical science (cum laude) at the same institution.

Dr. Haimi’s research primarily focuses on health promotion interventions, digital medical technologies, and health administration. His work aims to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes through innovative approaches in public health and technology integration.
🏆 Honors & Awards:
Dr. Haimi has received several prestigious awards, including a Travel Fellowship from the Daniel Turnberg UK/Middle East Travel Fellowships program (Academy of Medical Sciences) in May 2019. This fellowship supported his visit to Oxford University, where he collaborated with Dr. Chris Paton at the Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health.

Dr. Haimi currently serves as the Regional Medical Director, Hematologist, and Research Supervisor at Meuhedet Health Services, Northern District, since September 2023. His previous roles include Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion, and Senior Lecturer at the Health Administration Department, The Max Stern Yezreel Valley College. Dr. Haimi has also served as a Clinical Lecturer at the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion, and held various positions at Clalit Health Services from 2007 to 2023.
