Dr. Liu completed a Ph.D. in Library Science at Wuhan University under the guidance of Advisor Si Li, achieving a GPA of 3.7. Prior to this, Dr. Liu earned a Master of Library Science (M.L.S.) degree, also from Wuhan University, with a GPA of 3.6, mentored by Ran Congjing. Dr. Liu’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in Information Resource Management from Sichuan University, where a GPA of 3.5 was maintained.

Dr. Liu’s research interests encompass a broad range of topics within library science, including information policy and service, data governance, data ethics and rights, and critical data studies. This research aims to address the complexities of data management and ensure ethical standards in information handling.
🏆 Honors & Awards:
Throughout Dr. Liu’s academic career, several accolades have been received, including being named an Outstanding Academic Team Member of the “Wuhan University Academic Development Programme for Young Scholars in Humanities and Social Sciences” in 2020. Dr. Liu was also recognized as the 2019 Sichuan University Outstanding Graduate, an Outstanding Student in 2018, and received the Comprehensive First-Class Scholarship in 2017.

Dr. Liu has actively participated in various research programs and projects. During the Ph.D. program at Wuhan University, Dr. Liu contributed to the “Construction of National Digital Scientific and Technological Literature Resources Long-term Preservation System” and the “Research on the Construction of Multilingual and Shared Economic Management Database for the Countries Along the Belt and Road.” As an M.L.S. student, Dr. Liu was involved in projects such as “Research on Institutional Regulation and National Governance of Big Data” and “Research on Government Big Data Governance Mechanism.” Additionally, during the undergraduate years at Sichuan University, Dr. Liu engaged in cataloging American religion microfilm, investigating primary school libraries, and researching composite reading behavior.
