Prof. Juxi Hu’s research focuses on advanced naval architecture and ocean engineering, with particular emphasis on ship power and propulsion systems. Her work integrates multidisciplinary coupled computational analysis, optimization methods, and uncertainty-based reliability research to enhance the performance and safety of marine equipment systems. A key aspect of her scholarship is the combination of data-driven and mechanism-based approaches for fault diagnosis, prediction, and preventive maintenance.
