Prof. Livija Cveticanin was born on April 7, 1952, in Senta. She completed her primary and secondary education in 1970. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Novi Sad (UNS) in 1975 with an outstanding GPA of 9.50/10. She obtained her Master’s degree in Mechanics from the University of Belgrade in 1977 and completed her Ph.D. in 1981 at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, UNS, specializing in the dynamics of machines and mechanisms with variable mass. In 2013, she was awarded the Doctor of Science title by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest.
